Hi, I'm Ashley

I'm a therapist who really cares about helping people meet their goals. It can be intimidating to start the process of therapy, and I want to help make that easier for you. It's my goal to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where you can be totally candid about what you're dealing with. I find that when clients are able to be open, it becomes easier to connect the dots between what you are stuck in, and where you want to go.

"I believe that a different therapy must be constructed for each patient because each has a unique story." -Irvin D. Yalom

My approach to therapy changes the more I get to know you. Generally however, I gravitate toward an attachment and trauma informed lens and parts work. I also have extensive training in both cognitive and behavioral approaches.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do sessions cost?

My hourly session rate is $130 and payment is due at the time of the session.

For clients with financial need who are paying out of pocket (i.e. not using insurance), I do have a couple sliding scale spots available from time to time. Ask me about it!

Do you take insurance?

Yes! I'm paneled with United, Aetna, Cigna, Oxford, and Oscar Health

What populations do you specialize in?

I specialize in trauma recovery, navigating decisions, burnout, depression & anxiety reduction, and establishing boundaries in relationships. Over tele-health I am happy to work with anyone 13 years or older. I am body-positive and LGBTQ+ affirming.

What should I expect from therapy?

Sessions are 50 minutes long, and generally I meet with people once a week. Depending on circumstances I might recommend that we meet more or less often than that.

We will explore what you're struggling with and how to help you move forward. I am here to help you make your own decisions and feel empowered to make your life into what you want it to be. If you aren't sure if therapy is for you, I encourage you to at least give it a shot!

How long will I need therapy for?

Ultimately, that's your call. I've worked with people for as short as a couple months and as long as a couple years. You and I can talk about what's working for you and come up with a plan together.

Do you do in-person sessions?

Nope, we will always meet via video call on a secure HIPAA platform. My licensure is only in the state of Utah and Maryland, so you have to physically be in the state of Utah or Maryland for the duration of the session.
